ETL Listed
EAS Equipment is ETL listed and labeled to the UL-1995.
UL-1995 is the UL Standard for Safety of Heating and Cooling Equipment. The UL-1995 standard has also been harmonized with the Canadian CSA-C22.2 No. 236.
Having the ETL label ensures EAS equipment meets or exceeds the requirements of the National Electrical Code (NFPA-70), as well as the requirements of UL-1995.
NFPA 90A Certified
NFPA 90A is the Standard for the Installation of Air-conditioning and Ventilating Systems. Compliance with this NFPA standard ensures EAS construction is designed to protect life and property from fire, smoke and gasses. To meet the standard, equipment cannot have a flame spread index of 0-25 and a Smoke Developed Index of 0-50 when tested in accordance with ASTM-E84.
The EAS patented panel system passed the ASTM-E84 Test which is the Standard Test Method for Surface Burning Materials.
NFPA 90B Certified
NFPA 90B is the Standard for the Installation of Warm Air Heating and Air-conditioning Systems.
The EAS patented panel system passed the ASTM-E84 Test which is the Standard Test Method for Surface Burning.
UL Listed
All control panels provided by EAS are UL Listed and Labeled to UL-508A.
UL-508A is the Standard for Industrial Control Panels. The UL-508A Label ensures electrical panels meet or exceed the requirements of the National Electrical Code (NFPA-70),as well as the requirements of UL-508a.
Modular Certification (NC, SC)
Modular manufacturing certification means EAS can produce commercial modular units in accordance with the state building code. Modular unit construction includes plan reviews and compliance audits by a third party for each type of unit to be built. All the building codes (electrical, plumbing, HVAC and civil) of the state would apply. In order to receive certification, EAS had to meet all the requirements of the modular manufacturing regulations to include having an approved quality management system in place. In plant certification inspections conducted by the state regulatory agency and a 3rd party validation company are required before the certification is awarded. For states with registration only, the full certification process has not been completed. All administrative requirements have been met and license issued. Full certification is contingent on compliance and certification audits by a third party of the first of kind modular unit to be produced.
Modular Registration (TX, TN)
For states with registration only, the full certification process has not been completed. All administrative requirements have been met and license issued. Full certification is contingent on compliance and certification audits by a third party of the first of kind modular unit to be produced. Once a unit has been produced in the state registered, it will become certified.
AWS
All AWS standards are approved by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). This means during the standards development process, AWS follows a strict set of rules and requirements serving to govern, not only the standards approval process, but also all of the technical committees responsible for their maintenance.
